Tim Lieuwen is Executive Director of the Strategic Energy Institute at Georgia Tech. His research is in low emissions combustion, particularly on emissions, unsteady flame dynamics, and flame stabilization processes, and he has authored or edited 4 books and written over 200 technical papers. Dr. Lieuwen earned a B.S. at Calvin College and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
